About

Felixstowe Opportunity Group was founded in the early 1990s by a group of local mums who wanted a safe, welcoming space for their children with special needs. Over the decades, the group has evolved as the needs of families and the community have changed. In 2022, following the challenges of the pandemic, a new team stepped in to continue this vital work, ensuring that Felixstowe Opportunity Group (FOG) remained at the heart of the community. Today, we are proud to run a wide range of inclusive, supportive projects that reach children, families, and individuals of all ages.

Mission

Felixstowe Opportunity Group provides a safe, welcoming and inclusive space where children of all abilities, including those with additional needs and disabilities, can play, learn, explore and develop at their own pace. We support families with understanding, friendship and a community where every child is valued, included and given the opportunity to thrive.
